Our Duffle stripes take our classic duffle cloth and add colour and design for a modern feel. A warm, heavy weight fabric blended from luxurious Merino Wool with Nylon for added durability. Duffle stripes are stock supported with a minimum order of 2m, we can also bespoke design your own design with minimum weaving quantities.

The Melange Meltons range consists of four unique fabrics, united in their depth of colour and interesting shade variation. The term melange is French in its origin, referring to a mix of different shades of fibre which are blended together and spun into a yarn to produce a woven fabric with a distinctive marbled effect. Made from wool, the Melange Meltons range consists of a choice of fibre compositions suitable for heavy use upholstery, drapes and cushions.
Marble Melange is made up of 70% wool and 30% other fibres, which include Nylon and Polyester. This quality incorporates more than 30% recycled fibres.
Overcoating and REN Khaki are made from 100% wool. REN Khaki is a historical classic with a contemporary feel, originally developed for British Military uniforms during WWI. This quality incorporates five different shades of fibre to represent the natural elements of earth, sky and air.

The name Duffle derives from the town called Duffel in Belgium where the material originates. It was once traditionally a thick coarse woollen fabric used for Duffle coats, which became popular because of the British Royal Navy. It was made into a camel coloured garment as an item of warm clothing during World War 1. Due to large stocks of post-war military surplus coats, the Duffle coat was then sold to the general public in the 1950s and 1960s.
