A Royal Seal Of Approval
PROUD TO BE A ROYAL WARRANT HOLDER
Hainsworth were first awarded the Royal Warrant in 2004. Whilst it would be easy to presume that the Royal Warrant be awarded for the provision of ceremonial uniforms, this is not the case. A Royal Warrant is awarded for provision directly to the Royal Household and the ceremonial cloth provided by Hainsworth goes via a team of highly skilled military tailors. The Hainsworth Royal Warrant is for Supplying Furnishing Fabrics. Our mill has held a Royal Warrant for two decades, having been initially granted by her Majesty The Queen in 2004 and renewed since. A Royal Warrant is not a permanent award and lasts for 5 years. It must be reapplied for a year prior to its expiration to ensure it is renewed for another 5 years. For this to happen the business must meet an increasingly strict criteria, most recently an increased demand for sustainability credentials, which happily we were easily able to achieve. In December 2024, we were honoured to once again have been granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment to His Majesty the King, as Manufacturers of Furnishing Fabrics.
