Limited Edition 100% Merino Wool Throw

Your own unique piece of Great British history.

Our first ever short run of limited-edition throws tell the story of the historic Hainsworth mill, which has stood on the same site in West Yorkshire since 1783. Woven on the jacquard loom from 100% fine merino wool, the image of the iconic mill building is surrounded by a border inspired by the woven structures of our most celebrated fabric qualities.

Beautifully soft and cosy, the double cloth throw works perfectly within an interior, to dress a room or piece of furniture, but equally as a fashion accessory to dress the body. The muted colour palette of grey melanges and natural yarns highlight the shading and details within the design.

The throws measure 120 x 180 cm and are fringed at either end. Each throw is gift wrapped.

The Hainsworth Story

The Hainsworth family have been weaving the look of iconic England at our mill in Yorkshire since 1783. Proud to be responsible for the striking scarlet of the Queen’s Royal Guards, the ceremonial uniforms worn by the Royal Family during state occasions and the inventors of the first Khaki Serge for the British Military. Hainsworth cloth is the visual representation of England throughout the world.

True Craftsmanship

As a fully vertical woollen textile mill, we carry out each process in-house, from the selection of raw wool through to spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing. Our attention to detail is pure passion and craftsmanship born of the Hainsworth heritage. This means that every piece of Hainsworth cloth, and every throw or blanket, is a little piece of Great British history.
