Anne Kyyrö Quinn’s sculptural approach has pioneered a new genre of interior textiles based on three-dimensional structure.
Resembling artworks more than conventional fabrics, the contemporary creations produced by the studio are not textiles as you know them.
Cut, sewn and finished by hand, the luxury natural fabrics are crafted into interior textiles designed to harmonise timelessly with any setting. Each product is conceived as a gesture of simplicity with space for bold colours, rich textures and striking motifs.
Anne Kyyrö Quinn designed a long bench using 15 metres of Hainsworth’s tightly woven white Melton interior fabric for an exhibition in the stunning West Wing of Somerset House in central London. The house was transformed into a home made primarily of wool by The Campaign for Wool.
Anne Kyyrö Quinn, whose work has appeared in the film Sex and the City 2, said:
“We have often used Hainsworth’s woollen fabrics for our cushions and Ottomans and are pleased to use and support British textile companies.”
