Joshua Kane Showcases Hainsworth Fabrics in Latest Couture Collection

20th August 2025

Independent British fashion designer Joshua Kane has chosen Hainsworth Signature fabrics to bring to life a number of standout garments in his new Bespoken Dream Couture Collection.

Known for his distinctive approach to bespoke tailoring, Joshua Kane works with British woven cloth, crafting unique garments designed with luxury and longevity at their core. His latest collection highlights some of Hainsworth’s most iconic fabrics, including Peach Barathea, Red Barathea, Black Dress Barathea, Scarlet Doeskin, and Mid Blue Doeskin. Designs from the collection feature bold silhouettes with romantic detailing, military-inspired garments and pieces inspired by British history, crafted to fit both men’s and women’s tailoring shapes.

A Continuing Partnership

Joshua Kane has been a Hainsworth Signature Fabrics customer since 2022, and as well as featuring our fabrics in his bespoke designs, he also used Hainsworth Maroon Doeskin fabric to create the new Burlington Beadle Uniforms last year, and Hainsworth Scarlet Doeskin to craft Sabrina Carpenter’s 2025 BRIT Awards show one piece which was inspired by the Kings Guards uniforms.

Speaking about his new collection, Kane explains:

“My ‘Bespoken Dream’ celebrates everything I love about the art of tailoring, historic craftsmanship, paired with risk-taking and experimentation. This collection was a love letter to the people and places that have shaped me.”

Hainsworth’s textiles are deeply woven into British history and culture. Our fabrics have been chosen for landmark moments and cultural icons, from the scarlet uniforms of the Battle of Waterloo, to the Anointing Screen at the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III, and costumes for global productions including Downton Abbey, Queen Charlotte, Hamilton, Game of Thrones, and The Crown.

As one of the last remaining truly vertical woollen mills in Britain, Hainsworth has been crafting fabrics in Yorkshire for over 240 years, producing everything on one site – from raw fibre through to finished cloth. Using the world’s finest fleeces from Australia and New Zealand, our mill remains a proud Royal Warrant Holder for interior fabrics and a Woolmark Holder, continuing a legacy of uncompromising quality.
