Thermal Protective Performance (TPP)
We are one of the few companies worldwide who have TPP testing. A test specimen is exposed to a combined convective/radiant heat source. The times taken to reach the pain threshold and to cause a 2nd degree burn in human tissue are automatically generated by the computer. The temperature reached during the test is such as might occur in actual exposure during a flash fire. For more information Click here.

Proud heritage
In 1783 Abimelech Hainsworth began his working life as a cloth merchant by collecting fabric from local cottages and selling it at Leeds market. Such was the demand that he opened his first factory in 1800.
