Hainsworth® METIS is a lightweight solution woven using TI-TechnologyTM, our patented fabric construction.

By incorporating TI-technology^TM, Hainsworth® METIS is designed to be breathable, comfortable and minimise the effects of heat stress whilst being robust enough to withstand the rigours of the job. It comes complete with our Hainsworth® REPEL+ finish, the latest in finishing technology  offering durable protection against hazardous chemicals without the need to re-impregnate after every wash and incorporating a stain release element to ease cleaning.  

At 175gsm, this light weight option is designed to be used in conjunction with a drop liner to meet the requirements of BS7971-10:2004 Type II PSU coveralls. Please contact us for more information.

Hainsworth can offer a range of different finishes to meet the requirements and standards of your specific end use. Complimented by our in house UKAS accredited laboratory, Hainsworth have a rolling programme designed to improve the durability, chemical run off, spray rating, and handle of our finishes. Hainsworth® REPEL+ finish provides an invisible barrier around each fibre of the fabric and has been designed to provide the first line of defence against a range of hazardous chemicals that may be encountered by Riot Police or Fire Fighters. At Hainsworth we test the finish in our own UKAS accredited laboratory to guarantee its performance. It is a durable finish that will last for more than 30 wash dry/cycles and has added stain resistance to aid garment cleaning. Please enquire for further details.
