Martindale Testing
Constant rubbing causes breakdown of materials. Using a Martindale abrasion machine, the resistance to abrasion of a fabric can be determined by subjecting it to thousands of rubs against a standard abradant. Hainsworth manufacture and supply the woven felt underlay that is used in this equipment.
Our material is cut to size and supplied with full Certificate of Conformity on each delivery. Conforms to BS EN ISO 12917 and BS EN 530.
