Genuine Fanafel 100% Aramid (DuPont Nomex® or Teijin Conex®) needlefelts designed to work at the highest steam heated or gas heated ironer temperatures.

Aramid has natural resistance to hydrolysis and chemical attack and so allows the very longest working life which will also ensure that clothing changes can be made during less busy production periods.

Older ironers often need 2 or 3 turns of open weave base clothing underneath the normal turns of needlefelt. This must be in good condition in order to fully clothe the ironer and give even ironing performance. Genuine highest quality 100% Aramid will give the longest possible working life.
