Titan 1220 Rip Stop 220 g/m2

Hainsworth® TITAN is the brand name given to Nomex® with TI-Technology. This fabric is manufactured using a dual layering technology that allows Hainsworth to keep the fibres separate during the manufacturing process. The result is a range of fabrics with Nomex® on the outside and Kevlar® on the inside that provides enhanced levels of thermal protection & comfort with improved wear life characteristics. The Nomex® face offers excellent thermal protection along with high resistance to abrasion and UV degradation. The Kevlar® back is lightweight, comfortable and thermally protective and gives strength and stability to the fabric.

For fire fighter PPE it is designed to be used in conjunction with the latest generation of thermal and moisture barriers. This quality already protects over 50,000 fire fighters worldwide and continues to gain popularity with leading professional fire brigades. It is a dynamic fabric, with an open structure that maximises breathability, which reacts and moves when hit by heat and flame to increase the thermal protection offered.

Hainsworth can offer a range of different finishes to meet the requirements and standards of your specific end use. Complimented by our in house UKAS accredited laboratory, Hainsworth have a rolling programme designed to improve the durability, chemical run off, spray rating, and handle of our finishes. Hainsworth® REPEL+ finish provides an invisible barrier around each fibre of the fabric and has been designed to provide the first line of defence against a range of hazardous chemicals that may be encountered by Riot Police or Fire Fighters. At Hainsworth we test the finish in our own UKAS accredited laboratory to guarantee its performance. It is a durable finish that will last for more than 30 wash dry/cycles and has added stain resistance to aid garment cleaning. Please enquire for further details.
