Nomex Cuffing C106
Hainsworth manufacture flame retardent cuffing made from Nomex®. Nomex® is inherently flame-resistant and won’t melt, drip or support combustion in the air. The thermal protection offered by Nomex® is permanent - its superior flame resistance cannot be washed out or worn away. Nomex® chars and consolidates when exposed to intense heat, increasing the protective barrier between the heat source and the skin and minimizing burn injury.
This tough, protective barrier stays supple and flexible until it cools, which gives you valuable extra seconds of protection when you need it most. Combined with high break strength, tear resistance and abrasion resistance properties, garments made of Nomex® help protect workers facing hazardous conditions worldwide.
