Hainsworth have recently supplied D and S Bamford with a new innovative product, a 2000gsm Melange Grey/Brown Rug Runner. The fabric will be used in National Trust buildings and will be laid on top of the original carpets in public access areas to protect them from wear.
Working closely with the customer, an initial development was established containing four different colour patterns. A trial piece containing all four patterns was manufactured and assessed, with the preferred pattern chosen. Hainsworth then produced an initial order of 100 linear metres of fabric which has been accepted by the customer who is delighted with the product.
