Hainsworth was delighted to exhibit their Natural Legacy range to the American market for the second year running. Following the successful launch last October at the National Funeral Director Association Expo, held in Boston, Hainsworth was back in the USA this year at the Convention Centre in New Orleans.
The show was another success with a wealth of positive feedback flowing. There was a significant amount of interest in the pet caskets, which have yet to be launched officially. Unveiling the new product was not the initial intention as literature and even a name have yet to be decided. The decision to take the pet caskets was made to test the market and gauge the response – a decision made by Hainsworth proved to be worthwhile as the response and interest circulating around the product was excellent.
The little coffins (known as little caskets in America) proved very popular and people at the exhibition warmed to these a great deal. The soft and gentle look of the little coffins was thought to give people a feeling of warmth at such a difficult time.
Hainsworth has now set up the distribution networks in the USA with strong connections with the Cherokee Casket Company and the Cressy Memorial team, enabling national distribution. The momentum surrounding the innovative caskets is spreading worldwide, with a group of Australians stating they had seen the Clarence House PR in Australia.
The exhibition was excellent and added credibility that the woollen ‘caskets’ are here to stay.
