John Atkinson - Siesta

The John Atkinson by Hainsworth® Siesta Collection is our more contemporary offering of the classic Duchess blanket. Made from the same fine Merino, this blanket and throw collection is available in a range of modern tones to complement this seasons colours. The Siesta is available in blanket or throw size and in either coordinating or contrasting whipped stitch for a more contemporary look. Our Siesta range is very versatile and can be used to decorate your bed or sofa and is ideal for keeping you warm on cold evenings.

John Atkinson by Hainsworth® blankets are a sub brand of Hainsworth and our blankets are manufactured using only the finest wool blends. From the very beginning of the process we ensure that only the best natural fibres are used to create our beautiful blankets. All of our woollen blankets are manufactured from raw wool to hand finished blanket at our mill in West Yorkshire enabling us complete control of the full process. Wool is 100% natural and is nature’s performance fibre being one of the earth’s most sustainable resources.

We strongly believe that woollen blankets are the ultimate bedding option. Recent scientific research has shown that when sleeping under wool your heart rate lowers resulting in a more relaxed and rested condition and a more refreshed feeling on awakening. Wool is also breathable keeping you cool when it is hot and warm when it is cold and unlike duvets you can layer blankets to create the ultimate sleeping environment for you.
