John Atkinson - Lightweight Merino

The John Atkinson by Hainsworth® Lightweight Merino is a soft and elegant offering of the more traditional Merino blanket. This lighter weight blanket is an ideal choice for summer months or warmer climates where natural fibres offer the greatest comfort. The Lightweight Merino is beautifully finished with a classic wide satin binding bound all round the blanket.  This blanket is light and elegant and can be used for either a blanket in summer months or as a shawl enjoying  warm summer evenings.

From the very beginning of the process we ensure that only the best natural fibres are used to create our beautiful blankets. All of our woollen blankets are manufactured from raw wool to hand finished blanket at our mill in West Yorkshire enabling us complete control of the full process. Wool is 100% natural and is nature’s performance fibre being one of the earth’s most sustainable resources.

We strongly believe that woollen blankets are the ultimate bedding option. Recent scientific research has shown that when sleeping under wool your heart rate lowers resulting in a more relaxed and rested condition and a more refreshed feeling on awakening.
