Meet the management team

The Hainsworth team are at the heart of the company, they are what drive our ability to deliver quality textile and development outcomes every time; their expertise, motivation and approachability are central to our successful client relationships, and the past and future of the company. Diane Simpson, Sales Director

Born in May 1971, Diane joined Hainsworth in 1987 and studied business and finance on day release during her first three years.  Diane worked with John Hainsworth, Company Chairman initially and has had the privilege of being involved with all of the Hainsworth product ranges over the years.

Following John Hainsworth’s retirement, she worked with Adam Hainsworth to administer the sales of the snooker, pool and casino cloths and was involved from the early days with the printing and the cut length service.  Following the closure of Rileys, Diane helped to create a base for the sales structure to bring the Hainsworth brand into the pool and snooker market and most recently worked on boosting sales with our US partners through consignment stocking.
 
Diane’s more recent work involves the Interior fabrics range and has focused on enhancing the product range, refreshing the John Atkinson blankets image and creating a Hainsworth presence in the interior market. 

In February 2010, Diane was nominated for a Silver Shuttle award and was acknowledged for her work within the textile industry. 

In June 2010, Diane was promoted to Sales Director and with the expertise of the range managers and the dedicated sales team behind her, continues to enforce the Hainsworth brand values.  

Diane is married and has two daughters.  She enjoys gardening with her eldest daughter and supporting her youngest daughter in her hobby for dancing.
