Adam Hainsworth, Commercial Director

Born in Leeds in 1961, Adam Hainsworth is the 7th generation of the Hainsworth family to run A.W. Hainsworth & Sons Ltd. Adam has a degree in Business Administration and in 1984 was articled to an accountancy firm to train as a chartered accountant. Once qualified, Adam joined the company in 1987 on the sales side, and then became a director in 1999. Adam travels extensively abroad, developing long-term relationships with existing customers and opening up new markets as the product ranges expand. Adam sees the overseas expansion of the group a priority, as the markets become more global.

Adam is married to Fiona, and has two children Reuben and Joel. He likes to walk to work, is heavily involved with the local community, a deputy chair of governors of the local school, and is treasurer of the local church. Adam has a wide range of other interests, and is actively involved in a number of different sports.
